Quality

Founded only in 1967, WBS is a young business school, and the largest department of the highly-rated University of Warwick. Its rapid and successful growth is admired by many.

It is now a leading and established international business school, one of the largest in Europe, providing a comprehensive programme of undergraduate, specialist Masters, MBA, MPA and doctoral research degrees, executive short course programmes for organisations and individuals, and specialist research centres covering major aspects of working life.  It is the first business school in the UK to gain accreditation from the leading management education associations in the USA, Europe and the UK.  WBS research is top quality, proven by its highest 5* rating of international excellence by the UK Government’s most recent Research Assessment Exercise.

Interaction with business

Organisations from all sectors come to WBS for many reasons: to sponsor their managers and directors on MBA and executive development programmes, to collaborate on and learn from leading-edge research, and to access the expertise of faculty in their sector and subject areas.

Today WBS has over 8,000 students from 123 countries across the world’s continents. Its active Alumni Association (www.wbs.ac.uk/alumni) has over 23,000 members around the globe. The School works in partnership with organisations on global, national and local projects and attributes its success to the close relationship it builds with its clients, identifying and addressing real issues and recommending suitable approaches to specific management development needs.

The Warwick MBA

The Warwick MBA (www.warwickmba.com) provides a thorough grounding in general management as well as giving the opportunity to study subjects closely aligned to individual specialisms and interests.  It is one of the most flexible MBAs in the UK today with a choice of three different ways to learn – full-time, distance learning or executive (modular).  Study can be tailored to suit personal and professional circumstances by either switching mode of study, studying electives by other modes of study, taking a break, or even changing the pace of study.

Continuing professional development

Executive Programmes (www.wbs.ac.uk/executive) at WBS are the practical application of its world-class research blended with its expertise in teaching.  Individuals and organisations are enabled to reach their full potential and derive real benefits from learning.
